Overnight Pet Sitting

When people travel, it can be hard on the animal members of the family. Studies show that many pets are most comfortable in their own surroundings when their owners travel; it is the least disruptive and completely eliminates the risk of illness or accidents that can occur in kennels. Other pets desperately need more companionship when their owners are away; these pets fare much better in a safe environment that includes people all the time and other animals to interact with if possible.

At The Barking Station, we are equipped to handle all types of pets. Whether we care for your animal friend in your home or ours, we pride ourselves in providing the special loving care and attention all pets need and deserve. And, to give you a break, we offer free pick up and drop off for San Francisco clients when you bring your dogs to our home.

In Our Home Pet Sitting - $40 a day per dog Let your dog come and play at our big house with a huge back yard, dogs have access to people and the whole house all day long. Daily walks and excursions to San Francisco's parks and beaches. We feed twice a day (evening and morning.) Dogs are crated only when they cannot be supervised, bed time and feedings. Price includes organic, all-natural kibble or a well-balanced human grade meal also made w/organic and all natural ingredients, love and attention, and water at all times.

In Your Home Pet Sitting
Every day you are away, a member of The Barking Station will stop by your house once, or twice (morning and evening,) to feed your cat or dog, shower them with love and attention, walk your dog or change your cat's litter box, change their water, and bring in mail/newspapers. We will also provide home security by rotating window shades and interior lights to give your home the lived-in look and leave a daily log of pet and house care provided.

For Dogs - $20 a day for one 20 minute visit ($5 each additional dog)
For Cats - $20 a day for one 20 minute visit ($5 additional fee for every multiple of 2)

Doggie Day Care and Pet Taxi

Owning a pet can be a lot of work! Add in a family, illness or a high powered job and it can become downright overwhelming. Here at The Barking Station we understand the needs of local pet owners and are ready to assist where ever we can.

Doggie Day Care (small dogs only)
Let your dog come and play at our big house with a back yard, whenever you'll be away or working late! Dogs are taken out daily on different excursions throughout San Francisco's Golden Gate park, Beaches and many hiking trails! Dog's have access to people and the whole house all day long

Temperament: We can only accept dogs that are well behaved. Dogs that show aggression towards other dogs or people will not be accepted. Temperament will be evaluated when prospective clients and their dogs come to preview The Barking Station.

Pet Taxi
Can't fit grooming appointments into your busy schedule? Let us take your pet to the groomer and you'll come home to a clean critter! We'll be glad to take your pet to the vet, too. No more hassle!

- $12 per half hour with a one hour minimum.

Dog Walking

Dog Walking
Let us walk your dog, whenever you need to. We will do it by the hour for infrequent need and offer discounts for weeks paid and scheduled in advance. Dog walks consist of no more than 4 dogs at a time to insure careful attention to your dog and fun experience for all.

Hourly - $20 for an hour long walk ($15 each additional dog)
Weekly - $75 a week, when paid in advance (contact us for additional dogdiscounts)

Additional Services & Fees

• Free pick-up and drop-offs for San Francisco clients only.
• Brushing your pet with each visit by request (a fee may be applicable for long hair breeds.)
• $5 a day for taking out and bringing in the garbage, recycle and compost bins.
• $8 a day for watering & fertilizing house plants (additional fees may apply depending on the number of plants & any special needs.)
• $5 a day for administering medication (additional fees for multiple meds or injections.)
• Also caring for Birds, Small Animals and Fish - fees are based on the needs of the pet and request of the client.
